Since its launch in 1998, the Futura has been a favourite with the public. Whatever the model or size, the lightweight Futura range has something for everyone, whether for day hikes, multi-day mountain tours or long via ferrata routes. Equipped with the redesigned deuter Aircomfort Sensic mesh back panel, the Futura offers maximum comfort with optimal ventilation!

The result: less sweating thanks to the maximum ventilation provided by the Aircomfort mesh back panel system. This reduces strain on the circulatory system and thus boosts endurance.

The optimised use of materials makes the Aircomfort back system even lighter and more breathable, whilst enhancing comfort. The wider mesh panel in the lumbar region, combined with a softer mesh material, not only ensures maximum ventilation but also gives the backpack a particularly snug fit.

THANKS TO INNOVATIVE BACK SYSTEM FEATURES

Thanks to the new VariClick system, the back length can be individually adjusted to five different settings. The easy-to-use mechanism provides a distinct clicking sensation for secure engagement and, thanks to its central positioning, ensures the backpack is kept straight. Shoulder straps attached directly to the back frame improve load distribution. For maximum comfort, the hip fins distribute the weight evenly across the hips.

ALWAYS TO HAND THANKS TO A WELL-DESIGNED STORAGE SOLUTION

The poles can be attached to the front of the backpack and are therefore always within easy reach. A large stretch outer pocket with side access makes it easy to reach items such as a water bottle without having to take the backpack off. Additional compartments ensure everything is neatly organised, whilst the top-loading access provides quick access to the main compartment.

Gentle on the back thanks to its comfortable fit

Flexible, ergonomically shaped ActiveFit shoulder straps, contoured, ergonomic hip fins with pull-forward adjustment, and the infinitely adjustable chest strap ensure a snug, stable fit and even weight distribution across the hips and shoulders. In addition, the continuous padding on the hip fins and shoulder straps reduces pressure points and noticeably increases comfort.

ALWAYS TO HAND THANKS TO A WELL-DESIGNED STORAGE SOLUTION

Numerous pockets and compartments ensure excellent organisation, including stretch side pockets, hip belt pockets, compartments in the lid and a separate bottom compartment (depending on the model). A generous top opening and, on selected models, a U-shaped front zip ensure quick access to the main compartment. Gear loops and attachment points allow you to securely stow walking poles, a helmet and much more.
